Finance manager (principal) to play a key role on the digital and emerging market (dep) payment finance team, primarily supporting amazons brazil payment business including co-Branded credit card, installments, shop with points, cost of payment, and other local payment products. The person will be part of a team responsible for long and short term financial planning, controllership of monthly financial reporting, developing and reporting on weekly/monthly financial and operational performance metrics, and providing analytical support for senior business management. This position will be a key risk/controllership gateway for the payments business and requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills. A portion of the time will be spent on ad hoc analysis to support the growing business needs. The finance team works closely with the business teams, so any candidate should be able to work well with cross-Functional teams. The ideal candidate must have superior attention to detail, project and team management skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills are required. Key job responsibilities long and short term financial planning controllership of monthly financial reporting developing and reporting on weekly/monthly financial and operational performance metrics providing analytical support for senior business management being a key risk/controllership gateway for the payments business leading ad hoc analysis to support the growing business needs working closely with cross-Functional teams managing and guiding two or more team members. Will have the opportunity to coach and develop the team within dep finance. Basic qualifications tax, finance or a related analytical field experience. Experience in finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-Focused competency. Experience with tableau, python, sqb, quicksight, cognos, or other bi packages. Preferred qualifications mba, or cpa. Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting, and operational processes.
