This position is in cargills food ingredients and bio-Industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice purpose and impact the business development manager for specialized nutrition i&g will build strategic capabilities and execute sales strategies in close partnership with customers and the domain. In this role, you will support broader go to market initiatives, identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships across the portfolio and actively participate in the inner workings of both consumer and business to business sales in a startup and entrepreneurial environment. You will foster and grow the companys business development activities and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels. Key accountabilities lead business development and accountable for implementation of sales plans (annual and long-Term) while providing strategies to protect, grow and diversify value growth with targeted specialized nutrition customers in selected sub-Categories. Drive nbd / npss initiatives to actively manage the opportunity pipeline (customers and solutions) and deliver growth with regional gtm sales and technical teams. Partner as category subject matter expert with the regional go-To-Market teams to develop, implement and handle sales programs in specialized nutrition, working closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and market needs and collaborate with business teams to negotiate and close contracts. Identify and assess customer needs, acquire new customers to help launch new products / applications in conjunction with r&d, product line management, marketing and supply chain. Build, monitor and revise lead generation plans to develop substantive sales opportunities and report out on results. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry such as clients, partners, and industry associations. Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor. Qualifications minimum qualificationsbachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience minimum of six years of related work experience in sales, technical sales, business development preferred qualificationssales experience with specialized nutrition sector especially infant nutrition, medical nutrition, adult nutrition or dietary supplements ability to recognize and pursue new market segments/opportunities for business development while translating this into a return on investment outlook.
