Understanding our responsibility and our need for change, we are conscientious that success and scale bring broad job responsibilities- Manage vendor relationships, manage supplier/partner contracts, manage day-To-Day relationships, and negotiate and secure marketing funds- Work with the vendors to ensure they are operating efficiently on our tools- Work with the vendors to improve selection, profitability and help their business grow- Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of their products- Suggest process improvements and assist internal partners to drive them to completion- Execute tasks geared towards adding selection, reducing defects, increasing revenue and reducing costs for our customers- Coordinate cross-Functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines.A day in the life- Analyzes sub-Category output metrics to make decisions regarding pricing, selection, and convenience and drives for improvements- Owns the retail P&L for sub-Categories- Develops plans that drive revenue and margin improvement- Reviews results of promotions and changes course of action and negotiates new promotions if needed- Audits all elements of sub-Category business (e.G., inputs, outputs, site experience, team performance), performs deep dive analysis on problems to understand root causes, and makes decisions based on data- Acts as escalation point to respond to vendor needs for sub-Categories identifies and communicates trends.- The ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and editing tools (including html, excel, and access) is necessary, and prior experience is a plus- Sql and vba knowledge are a plus- Prior experience with presentation, organization and account/vendor management is preferred- Strong oral and written communication skills, proven multi-Tasking ability, and quantitative analysis- Our environment is fast-Paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-Oriented, and analytical.
