The key account manager (kam) will manage all sales activities and relationship with modern trade accounts to increase top line sales, develop the category and lead monster bev corp portfolio to be the most relevant player in the industry. The key account manager (kam) will be accountable for volume, promotional activities, monster energy brands and category development within chains from the following channels: national and regional groceries, drug stores, gas stations, modern trade wholesalers, and convenience job functions:- Meet and exceed volume and market share objectives.- Guide the distributor/bottler(s) sales team and negotiate contracts and tactical business plans with national accounts.- Ability to communicate and work in a complex scenario (10 different bottlers).- Manage channel promo calendar according annual budget plan at the right price calendar and frequency.- Understand the formats of each chain, available promotional tools and set up a strategy according to the each particular models of store.- Collaborate and coordinate with distributor/bottler(s) in negotiating with key account buyer to maximize sales distribution, vertical and horizontal distribution, new product listing, point of sale placement, consumer promotion programs, and additional displays execution within the trade spend budget.- Manage the aggressiveness of the promotions among the customers maintaining the strategy of relativity of prices between channels and formats of stores.- Work with distributor/bottler(s) sales team to expand new distribution.- Monitor and coach training distributor merchandiser team to ensure instore compliance and develop incentive program to increase in-Store display.- Develop trade marketing strategy with the bottlers structure to develop taylormade initiatives to enhance brand visibility and manage the monster point of sale inventory usage.- Lead category management initiatives, monitor competitors by anticipating actions to ensure optimal execution in the field.- Able to work independently while being a team player.- Experience with forecasting and nielsen analysis.- Manage the distributor/bottler(s) team, guiding, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, disseminating and enforcing procedures / standards and control commercial requirements:- 5+ years realted experience.- Sales and sales planning experience in a retail, wholesalers and distributor sales environment.- Proven knowledge of distributor and retail customer.- Able to work independently while being a team player.- Understanding the business, multitasking / hands-On- Computer skills.- Nielsen knowledge.- Fluent in country/regional language(s) and english preferred.
