General summary: The sales manager will be responsible for meeting the monthly, quarterly, and annual territory sales quotas and providing solid direction and leadership for the brazilian sales team. This position reports to the global vp of sales. Key responsibilities: Meet or exceed established revenue goals for the established territories in brazil. Direct management responsibility for sales sales executives and clinical applications specialists, including performance management, skill development, coaching and mentoring of sales technique and territory management. Direct sales responsibility for designated customer groups within a specific geographic region. Manage sales performance of direct reports as it involves opportunity and pipeline development, forecasting and revenue generation. Manage and monitor communication and team effectiveness occurring between sales, applications team and partner sales channels. Report all product, marketplace or staff related matters of concern to global vp of sales. Establish and nurture luminary physician relationships within assigned territory. Attendance at and sales support for national and//or its distribution partners participate. Miscellaneous projects as determined. Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the companys quality system. Knowledge and experience: B.a. Or b.s. In life sciences, business administration, related area or equivalent work experience. 5-7+ Years professional outside sales experience, with proven track record of growing sales. Previous leadership or management experience required. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics. Experience in life sciences industry. Experience in the medical diagnostic ultrasound arena is preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Excellent customer interface and presentation skills. Strong leadership skills. Ability to travel more than 50% of the time. Fluent english is mandatory resumes in english must be sent to with the code ger_vend.
