This role requires close collaboration with national and international colleagues from medical affairs and the extended cross-Functional team. The role is office-Based and will report to the sr medical director responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:develops and executes medical affairs activities and scientific projects based on the medical breast cancer strategy, tactics, and plan of action, in close collaboration with other local and global medical team and execute medical-Scientific activities in new indication launch: strategy and product be recognized as a subject matter expert within and outside gilead in breast cancer focal point of collaborative work across multiple functional areas, including commercial, marketing, clinical research, pharmacovigilance, medical information, market access, regulatory and legal to align indication strategic planskeep fostering partnerships with scientific leaders and medical societies to facilitate the exchange and unbiased scientific information between medical communities and gileadplans and conducts advisory boards as needed to obtain cancer ms leader team: coach, train and oversees ms performance including monitoring metrics towards set kpis: projects, scientific narrative, insights gathering, kol segmentation and storytellingcollaborate in the preparation of dossiers for regulatory and market access and conducts medical education and communication activities, including digital, face-To-Face, and generation: analyses locally and facilitate presentation of study proposal to gilead internal committeepresents scientific and clinical data in a variety of different scientific data generation through collaboration with the gilead personnel in r&d and clinical operations, and site support in clinical and contribute to access/reimbursement strategies and kol engagement in the development and training of internal accurate medical breast cancer oncology budgetstrategic mindset with a focus on collaboration and excellenceexcellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to understand, analyze and communicate medical concepts clearly and interpersonal and relationship-Building skillsability to successfully navigate fast and dynamic situations where there is ambiguity, uncertainty, and changedemonstrate organizational skills to manage multiple projects organizational skills, including attention to detail and prioritizationability to work in a cross-Functional matrixresilient and strong business acumen translation of scientific expertise and knowledge to achieve the identified business goals of the company with the ability to deliver in a competitive team player and cross-Functional with learning ability to work independentlycapacity to develop and deliver high-Quality presentations is essentialability to embrace gileads leadership commitments and patient-Centric values, including highest ethical and compliance standardstravel to domestic and international conferences, including weekendsgilead core values:integrity (doing whats right)teamwork (working together)excellence (being your best)accountability (taking personal responsibility)inclusion (encouraging diversity)the ideal candidate will be an md, or related to medical sciences, with pharmaceutical or clinical experience in oncologyadvanced scientific degree (i.E., msc, pharmd, ph.D.)at least 5 years experience in a relevant medical/scientific role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and with product launch experienceexcellent clinical and scientific understanding of oncologywith a solid knowledge of clinical research process, treatment landscape, and treatment management experience is desirablefluency in portuguese and english for current gilead employees and contractors:please log onto your internal career site to apply for this job.
