Assure that the compensation and benefits program are in compliance with local youll do- Design, develop, maintain, and administer compensation and benefits programs for employees, in order to assure that they are competitive according to the market in brazil.- Develop, recommend, interpret, and implement human resources policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits.- Prepare and monitor the c&b department budget.- Serve as a liaison between the affiliates, corporate compensation, corporate benefits, divisional hr management, consultants, and benefit carriers in terms of compensation and benefits programs and strategy.- Proposes c&b function solutions for the different businesses in brazil.- Synthesizes and evaluates information to select alternatives and develop solutions for complex issues within the organizational units served ensures that solutions support the division strategy.- Evaluates and synthesizes information provided by consultants and clients to resolve high-Impact issues.- Accountability/scope/budget_this position reports to the compensation & benefits area director, corporate c&b.- Confidentiality:_this position requires to constantly performing confidential tasks and management of highly confidential information, inside a private of noise of this position is considered low.- Contacts:_- External: hr services suppliers, government agencies, other companies in the industry, benefit carriers, consultants and lawyers.- Internal: corporate benefits, corporate compensation, vice president & general manager, directors, plant managers, managers and qualifications- Education, skills & experience:_- Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, science or similar.- Have experience in managing multiple task and projects related to the human resources field as well as project management knowledge and skills.- Strong analytical and problem-Solving skills.- Ability to fully contribute to brazil management team.- Knowledge of local labor laws.- Computer skills.- Language: portuguese: expert/native, spanish: expert, english: expertPreferred qualifications- This position requires a minimum of 8 years combined experience between designing and managing compensation and benefits programs, and hr administration.- Minimum of five years of experience in c&b functions.- Minimum of two years experience in a managerial/supervisory your career aspirations to abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
