Bario is the platform that connects all the poc's needs digitally. Bario focus is to bring maximum operational efficiency to the retail and empower small and medium stores to function better and deliver better services. In that moment we are developing a web pos solution to help the stores' owner manage their business, generate sales insights and serve as a hub to other services. Responsibilities build, manage and mentor software engineering team of 4+ Engineers; Leads delivery of major initiatives on clear timelines taking responsibility for the engineering team's goal; Execute regular (bi-weekly or monthly) feedback on career growth, progression towards goals, areas for improvement and praise as warranted; Continuous improve the development process to achieve better productivity and quality; Produces software development metrics and uses it to assess software quality and team performance; Understand deeply the priorities and objectives of the business; Communicates business context to the team and ensure that they are focused on the priorities and objectives; Actively seek, assess and hire top-notch developers. Requirements experience with building, leading, and mentoring engineering team; Hands-on experience with python, java, ruby or similar; We value the quality of code so, you must have a deep knowledge in software design principles as solid, design patterns and ddd; Experience in aws ecosystem; You should understand the benefits of writing automated tests such as unit tests, integration tests and run them through development pipeline; We like to push code continuously into production, so we value practices as continuous deployment / integration. Nice to have experience building graphql apis; Knowledge in serverless architecture; Knowledge in microservices architecture; Fluency in english.
