Other duties may be assigned. 1. Provide strategic direction and support to the operations management team, regional directors and vp of operations, throughout the pre-Opening schedule for new restaurants. 2. Function as project leader, interacting with corporate office departments to include: design, purchasing, construction, training, risk management, corporate review, accounting, information technology, and field restaurant management from start of project until completion of all punch lists and project initiatives (generally one to two weeks beyond opening date). 3. Fiscally responsible for concept development and its growth potential relating to budget adherence and cost savings initiatives. 4. Develop and maintain reference and communication material for management pre-Opening process, including staffing manuals, and reference books. 5. Act as liaison between training, food & beverage, and management to ensure validity of training provided by corporate team. 6. Actively test and coordinate implementation of all new ideas being considered by fogo de chao into prototypical design and ongoing operations to include: all new restaurant equipment and manufactures training programs and timelines incorporated into new restaurant agenda smallwares replacement supplies decor elements remodel initiatives furniture & fixtures and security, phone, lighting, music systems, and hvac systems. Integrity - Uphold a high standard of fairness and ethics in everyday words and actions. 10. Written communication - Have the skills to communicate to others in written format. Education, experience & travel required Bachelors degree preferred. 3+ years at general manager level or equivalent with high standing for promotability to next level. Experience in new restaurant, hotel, or retail openings preferred. Experience in related fields dealing with design, construction, purchasing, and multi-Unit management preferred. Trilingual (english, portuguese, spanish) preferred. Ability to travel up to 60-75% of the time, as needed. Computer skills Proficient in microsoft office. Experienced in various learning and development software applications. Physical demands the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, travel by automobile and airplane, and stand for prolong hours. Must have a high level of endurance and mental acuity and toughness to manage conflict and deal successfully with high stress situations. Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
