Founded in 1934, we are a uk charity governed by royal charter and a uk public purpose- This role will:- Work with country director, brazil and cultural engagement team, americas in growing strategic, institutional partnerships across both public and private sectors as well as scoping and pursuing large opportunities for contract pursuit- Position the british council as a go-To expert in the fields of education, english and arts and culture through an insights-Driven approach with key stakeholders, particularly within the federal government of brazil- Lead and manage key stakeholder events which bring a focused and influential network of individuals and partners together, to help inform and shape the british council&# portfolio and partnership profile in brazil- Act as a key british council business partner for wider uk hmg network including working with six uk honorary consuls to further british council interests in key states..Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:Brand and market positioning- Promotes and positions the diversity of the uk english, education and the arts sectors in country.- Ensures british council&# value proposition and support to the uk english, education and the arts sectors in country is clear, agreed and communicated.- Ensures that british council&# reputation for quality and as a valued not-For-Profit partner remains high and contributes to our organisational mission of building trust between the uk and other countries.- Works closely with colleagues and experts in the sbu to feed market/customer insights into the programme development planning cycle, to ensure the british council&# offer is market relevant for the countries listed above and the uk, demand-Led and consistent with the british council and fcdo objectives.- Contributes to the development of internal and external communications materials to highlight impactful stories from the ce portfolio in stakeholder and key account management- Share key external and contextual insights, including risks, with country slt and regional sector ledership and work to resolve challenges quickly and at the right level.- Identify, cultivate and manage strategic alliances with key government partners and stakeholders in country to ensure achievement of british council cultural engagement objectives.- Manage and nurture a larger-Scale (500k and above) pipeline of opportunities, especially b-G in line with strategy 2025 and fcdo priorities.- Provide regular reports on insight and pipeline and help shape future actions towards growing partnerships with the fedefal government.- Maintain excellent relationship with country team, across cultural engagement and sbus, and regional colleagues, often being a conduit for cross-Sectoral development- Contributes to business and partnership development for the portfo.
