Join us and applytoday what you will be doing primary duties and responsibilities:develops the financial and operational plans for the distributioncenter teams, including the expense plans and targets per departmentand overall distribution center and operational performanceimprovement plans per department. Drives daily performanceaccountability across all areas while reinforcing a team-Oriented,customer-Focused approach. Owns standardization and leads disciplinedprocess for identifying, testing, and verifying improvementopportunities. Responsible for the review and approval of departmentand overall staffing plans. Responsible for talent development,providing direction for and leading performance management anddevelopment amongst management teams. Supervises associate relationsfunctions within distribution center including hiring, terminating,performance management, development and training of abc and maintains positive work environment creatingengagement with distribution center associates. Coaches and mentorslead team members as well as other distribution center performance and productivity measures for the purpose ofmaximizing earnings and expense in the facility. Reviews and monitorsstandard operating procedures makes observations and recommendsimprovements to promote efficiency in distribution center earnings,accuracy, improved service and lower costs. Supports compliance withall appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmentregulations maintains and coordinates all areas of security withinthe distribution center. Performs related duties as assigned. Whatyour background should look like experience and educationalrequirements: requires broad training in fields such as businessadministration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences orsimilar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four yearbachelors degree program or equivalent combination of experience andeducation. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directlyrelated and progressively responsible experience, including at leasttwo (2) years experience at a managerial level. Minimum skills,knowledge and ability requirements: very strong operational knowledgewith solid business acumen working knowledge of automated warehouseoperating systems preferred working knowledge of abc warehouseoperations preferred ability to communicate effectively both orallyand in writing effective coach / teacher of operational practices andteam leadership good analytical and mathematical skills effectiveinterpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to create positivework environment strong organizational skills attention to detailability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver solid results gooddecision making skills good presentation skills excellentproblem-Solving skills ability to manage and resolve issueseffectively and efficiently knowledge of computers to operateeffectively with outlook, powerpoint, word and excel.
