The service organization part of vestas latam business unit andresponsible for all commercial and operational activities aroundservicing and improving the regional wind turbine fleet in latinamerica. The head of supply chain, repairs and tools is part of thelatam service leadership team reporting directly to the vice presidentof service. Responsibilities lead and develop the latam service supplychain organization which is responsible for all key supply chainfunctions including direct responsibility for siop, warehouseoperations, tooling & repair and co-Responsibility for serviceprocurement and service transport & customs develop the team towardsformulating a clear strategy for each area and secure short-, mid- Andlong-Term goals are met via thorough tactical planning. Follow up onbusiness performance, orchestrate relevant projects and initiatives,and conduct regular reviews with key internal and externalstakeholders ensure that all supply chain functions in the region areworking towards safety and quality as top priorities and secure aconstant drive towards continuously improving the business and our wayof working secure that all cost out opportunities are identified andutilized in the business unit. Ensure internal business transparencyand consolidate relevant data and inputs for global strategies andgoals. Guide the team with a vestas holistic view direct and superviserelationships with interfacing departments and secure a positivecollaboration amongst the different functions. Promote the latamservice region as key member of the service leadership team. Securevestas business goals are met for the latam region and work towards anorganization that is best in what we do, that identifies and works byour defined values and is the employer of choice for current and newemployees. Be a change agent and secure capability building throughengaging with key stakeholders and the implementation of processimprovements advise management about important trends in the industryand ensure to exploit these for the benefits of the vestas businessall other responsibilities as assigned qualifications academic degreein business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent min.5 years of leadership experience in an established organization good,proven project and program management skills. In-Depth understandingand experience working with the vestas (or other oem) value chain willdefinitely benefit you in this position experience from a similarindustry and for example from large scale construction in english, and either portuguese or spanish competencieseffective team leadership skills with ability to facilitate acooperative work environment, motivate, coach, and facilitate employeedevelopment and performance. Ability to effectively coordinate directreports who also have direct reports (leader of leaders) ability todevelop, plan, and implement strategic short- And long-Range to prioritize - Also in a time-Sensitive situation - Will bekey for this role business and financial acumen. Proven proficiency inanalysis and problem solving continuous improvement mind-Set as wellas a solution-Oriented and motivated approach to your work goodinterpersonal and communication skills, able to express oneselfclearly ability to work & influence effectively with a wide range ofstakeholders and business units in a global organization. Ability todevelop and facilitate positive relationships among stakeholders.
