The service organization part of vestas latam business unit andresponsible for all commercial and operational activities aroundservicing and improving the regional wind turbine fleet in latinamerica. The head of supply chain, repairs and tools is part of thelatam service leadership team reporting directly to the vice presidentof service. Responsibilities lead and develop the latam service supplychain organization which is responsible for all key supply chainfunctions including direct responsibility for siop, warehouseoperations, tooling & repair and co-Responsibility for serviceprocurement and service transport & customs develop the team towardsformulating a clear strategy for each area and secure short-, mid- Andlong-Term goals are met via thorough tactical planning. Follow up onbusiness performance, orchestrate relevant projects and initiatives,and conduct regular reviews with key internal and externalstakeholders ensure that all supply chain functions in the region areworking towards safety and quality as top priorities and secure aconstant drive towards continuously improving the business and our wayof working secure that all cost out opportunities are identified andutilized in the business unit. Ensure internal business transparencyand consolidate relevant data and inputs for global strategies andgoals. Guide the team with a vestas holistic view direct and superviserelationships with interfacing departments and secure a positivecollaboration amongst the different functions. Promote the latamservice region as key member of the service leadership team.
