The service organization part of vestas latam business unit and responsible for all commercial and operational activities around servicing and improving the regional wind turbine fleet in latin america. The head of supply chain, repairs and tools is part of the latam service leadership team reporting directly to the vice president of service. Responsibilities lead and develop the latam service supply chain organization which is responsible for all key supply chain functions including direct responsibility for siop, warehouse operations, tooling & repair and co-Responsibility for service procurement and service transport & customs develop the team towards formulating a clear strategy for each area and secure short-, mid- And long-Term goals are met via thorough tactical planning. Follow up on business performance, orchestrate relevant projects and initiatives, and conduct regular reviews with key internal and external stakeholders ensure that all supply chain functions in the region are working towards safety and quality as top priorities and secure a constant drive towards continuously improving the business and our way of working secure that all cost out opportunities are identified and utilized in the business unit. Ensure internal business transparency and consolidate relevant data and inputs for global strategies and goals. Guide the team with a vestas holistic view direct and supervise relationships with interfacing departments and secure a positive collaboration amongst the different functions. Promote the latam service region as key member of the service leadership team. Be a change agent and secure capability building through engaging with key stakeholders and the implementation of process improvements advise management about important trends in the industry and ensure to exploit these for the benefits of the vestas business all other responsibilities as assigned qualifications academic degree in business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent min. 5 years of leadership experience in an established organization good, proven project and program management skills. In-Depth understanding and experience working with the vestas (or other oem) value chain will definitely benefit you in this position experience from a similar industry and for example from large scale construction projects. Fluent in english, and either portuguese or spanish competencies effective team leadership skills with ability to facilitate a cooperative work environment, motivate, coach, and facilitate employee development and performance. Ability to effectively coordinate direct reports who also have direct reports (leader of leaders) ability to develop, plan, and implement strategic short- And long-Range goals. Ability to prioritize - Also in a time-Sensitive situation - Will be key for this role business and financial acumen. Proven proficiency in analysis and problem solving continuous improvement mind-Set as well as a solution-Oriented and motivated approach to your work good interpersonal and communication skills, able to express oneself clearly ability to work & influence effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and business units in a global organization. Ability to develop and facilitate positive relationships among stakeholders.
