We are looking to hire a resourceful colombia general manager to join our exceptional team at csl limited in colômbia, sp. If you are strong in persuasion, creativity and have the right initiative for the job, then apply for the position of colombia general manager at csl limited today job description the opportunity: reporting to the executive director, gm latin america, as the general manager for our colombia affiliate, you will be responsible and accountable for overseeing the operations of the csl behring colombia affiliate in line with the overall business objectives and in full compliance with csl code of responsible business practices, global, regional, and local policies as well as all local laws and applicable codes. You will direct the direct and develop country team to meet short and long-Term business objectives and complies with regulations in order to protect csls public reputation. You will act in line with code of responsible business practice. You will identify growth opportunities, develop a vision for and implements a strategic 5-Year growth plan, assure there is a strategic plan for each product, including well planned forecasts and business development activities. You will establish and achieve sales targets including p&l, cash flow and dso management in collaboration with corporate and regional executives and in line with budgeted opex. You will implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with corporate (and local) requirements. You will be responsible for all financial matters: accountable to lead a finance department led by a head of finance that ensures compliance with local and corporate accounting practices that includes taxation, reporting, general administration, controlling and governance. You will be responsible for the right registration of new products, the update of the existing and the quality assurance requirements performed by an operations manager in order to ensure the existence of a solid portfolio of products and the correct implementation of pharmacovigilance standards. You will manage the responsibility of a medical department either with your own personnel or outsourced to train field force, keep customers medically informed and attract and coordinate local or global clinical studies. You will also be responsible for designing, when necessary, the structure of the affiliate in alignment with business needs, as well as allocating resources and proactively encourage the professional and personal development of all employees on a well-Balanced work environment according to csl behring will be responsible as well for signing deals on behalf of the company with a valid power of attorney according to the financial limits expressed in the by global guidelines as needed using the help and guidance of the designated legal local counseling firm who is in charge to keep updated and following global legal will be the representative of the company in front of chambers of commerce and every other institution. You will be ultimate responsible at a country level and represent the company in front of other companies, suppliers, and customers, including government bodies, putting signature supported by a legal power of attorney to all legal requirements. The role: execution of the strategic plan: drive sustainable revenue growth of the defined territory by developing and reviewing the strategic plans while supervising the implementation of sales tactics, steering whenever needed to ensure kpis are achieved. Represent the strategic goals of the company within the defined territory in front of government local authorities, partnering companies, pharmaceutical bodies and other commercial contacts, signing deals, agreements or contracts with the appropriate legal empowerment. Create and fill up the planning charter according to the ico requirements follow csl values, code of responsible business practice and intercontinental commercial operations guidelines in all activities and ensure that all csl behring employees in colombia also follow our ethical policies and values. Communicate regularly csl values to all employees and implement the compliance program in accordance to csl and local rules. Supervision and leadership: ensure a strong organizational structure to support growth and sustainable business in colombia, effectively manage the employees through a clear, direct and respectful communication, establish organizational goals and objectives, ensure compliance to csl codes, policies and local regulations responsible for planning and participating on budgets and forecasts, securing approvals, achieving finance kpis, ensure proper resources for external and internal audits, compliance to csl codes and colombian regulation, tax management, accuracy and timely information to kop, close collaboration with ico regional controller, follow ico commercial operations guidelines, monthly s&op submission, close collaboration with ico demand planning. Commercial: responsible for the effective management of the commercial operations in colombia, including: achieve sales kpis, keep the sales force duly trained and following csl codes and compliance program, regular visits to customers aligned with mkt strategy, management and participation in tender business ensuring successful outcomes, ensure proper resources in marketing are in place and all activities in line with csl codes and colombia regulations, close collaboration with ico mkt, promotional material development following corporate guidelines for branding, new markets assessments, business case submission, marketing plan development, budget control, product launching activities, kols relationship building. Ensure adequate use of crm tools in colombia and assure that all users are trained and the data are being duly updated on the system. Drives market access strategy establishing a thorough follow up of the inclusion process for products into all relevant formularies also obtaining reimbursement attend relevant local, regional, and international congresses and company events. Ensures pricing is consistent with local rules, laws, and regulations. Management/human resources:responsible for the performance of the entire organization and leading the team to successfully accomplish the organizational objectives including but not limited to the following: full cycle performance management - Annual objective setting, mid-Year and end year reviews coaching and counseling as appropriate recruitment, selection, retention, and development of talent manage, direct & measure work on an ongoing basis. Provide timely constructive feedback to ensure quality of work meets or exceeds company standards assure work is completed in a customer focused manner ensure accuracy in all processes related to the human resources area following csl behring policies and colombian labor laws for employees, internal and third parties, including: monthly payroll information to third party provider, hiring and dismissal processes, collective bargaining agreements applications, fringe benefits evaluation and definition. Ensure that all the hr processes are properly archived. Will ensure that employees compensation and benefits packages (salary, pension plan, dental and medical plan, transportation, meals and food vouchers, if applicable) are competitive and allow csl behring to attract and retain top talent. The gm and the hr business partner and consultant will work to develop a safe and healthy working environment while addressing potential gaps found in employee feedback survey, ensuring a high level of employee engagement. Is responsible for data protection regulations compliance. Regulatory affairs: responsible for maintaining full compliance of regulatory status of all csl behring products in colombia via the csl regulatory employees. Responsible for continuous update of regulatory priorities for the in meetings with local and federal regulatory authorities, ensure that all regulatory activities are timely and properly performed: keep the working licenses updated, follow colombian regulations and inform properly the manufacturing plants about the impacts, submit new registration processes, submit renewal processes of the products, submit all necessary relevant variations to regulatory authorities and communicate them to the plants, review and approve all printing material in accordance to colombian regulation, submit gmp certification for our manufacturing plant, support to tender department in relation to documentation, review and approval of all promotional material in accordance to colombian for establishing and maintaining pharmacovigilance systems in line with local requirements and applicable csl policies. Quality assurance/logistics: ensure that a quality system be implemented in the colombian affiliate in accordance to global qa guidelines, ensure that all employees are duly trained to perform their activities, close collaboration with global logistics and regional qa and logistics representative, guarantee that all activities related to quality assurance are in place: sops development and maintenance, regular training sessions to all employees, checking of transportation conditions of all good in accordance to transport validation and storage temperature registered with regulatory authorities, accompany sanitary inspections on manufacturing plants, request all necessary documentation for importation process, perform self-Inspections, perform inspection on third party and suppliers, guarantee that the distribution is in accordance to csl standards, main contact with 3pl checking all activities and kpis achievement, listing corrective actions, prepare documentation and processes for sanitary inspections in our warehouse and main office. Evaluation of new transportation models (e.G., sea freight) to reduce costs and operational activities. Embrace and organize activities that ensure pharmacovigilance global requirements are taken into full compliance. Legal: is the legal representative in all matters related to colombian affiliate responding civil and criminal for all activities performed. Follow intercontinental commercial operations guidelines for legal matters with support of internal and external legal consultant. Organize and lead quarterly risk committee meetings in order to assess company risks and treating it accordingly with the local and global legal support. Inform the risk register according with the findings. Is responsible for the data protection agent included in the hr functions. Medical: ensure medical support to mkt area with close collaboration with ico mkt, ensure that medical activities are performed following csl codes and local regulations, and duties in accordance to company practices and colombian regulation, sales representatives training development, and medical meetings for kols. Monitors and evaluates the changing external and competitive environments and responds appropriately. Interacts with healthcare professionals, government officials in scientific studies, donations, speaker fees etc. Consistent with corporate policies, local rules, laws, and regulations. Set up processes and databases for monitoring purposes. Your skills and abilities: university degree in one of the following areas: business administration, pharmacy, economics, cpa, medical or biological masters degree in an industry related field (business/scientific) is a plus full fluency in spanish and english is a must. Minimum of 5 years experience as a general manager or reporting to a general manager in latin american markets, 12 years experience in healthcare/pharmaceuticals with special focus on specialty pharma products, sales, marketing, access, medical affairs, and distribution management experience leading and managing teams in an international environment experience in p&l management, strategic and tactical/brand marketing, and sales management experience in logistics & supply chain, quality, regulatory and pharmacovigilance, marketing, and sales.
