Lift ventures a remote-First startup studio whose portfolio of businesses has reached over 250 million consumers to date, is seeking a seasoned and talented head of product to join our leadership team and direct product initiatives forour fast-Growing edtech business supersummary (). Supersummary is a subscription-Based website offering a library of professionally-Written study guides and other educational resources on thousands of books for students, teachers, and readers of all types. The head of product will be responsible for leading the product management function. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-Functional teams to develop and execute on the companys product strategy, ensuring that our products meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will help propell supersummary into an excitingphase of growth and transformation, as we have a wealth of innovations with natural product-Market will workclosely with designers, engineers, analysts, and our leadership team to set the product vision andshape the product roadmap for supersummary. You will leverage sophisticated product analytics and in-Depth market&competitor research to improve existing features and bring new and innovative features to our product suite. Given the distributed nature of our team, this role is 100% remote. The majority of ourproduct, design, and engineering teams are currently located in brazil, while the rest of our team is distributed throughout the us and latin america. Key responsibilities shape supersummarys long term strategic goals and visions with our leadership team develop and implement a product roadmap that aligns with the long term business goals grow and lead a team of product managers to deliver high-Quality products on time and within budget provide leadership oversight tocross-Functional teams, including engineering, design, and user research, to ensure that products and featuresare developed and launched successfully become the expert on our targetmarket, ourcompetitors, andthe larger edtech industry so that our product strategy is continuously improving and relevant to the latest trends synthesize and processmultiple business and/or customerneeds into well-Definedproduct strategies lead the product development process, including product backlog management, feature prioritization, and product release planning work with executive leadership to set product-Related goals and objectives, and regularly report on progress toward those goals foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team stay up-To-Date on industry trends and best practices related to product management basic qualifications 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, or computer science proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-Paced, agile software development environment strong strategic thinking and problem-Solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-Driven decisions excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-Functional teams demonstrated ability to develop and execute on a product roadmap that aligns with business goals and objectives experience managing product managers and other product-Related staff knowledge of product management best practices, including agile and lean methodologies experience working with cross-Functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget proven track record of making data-Driven decisions using common product analytics tools such as amplitude or mixpanel preferred qualifications mba or other relevant graduate degree preferred experience founding or cofounding a company with a digital product experience working on an edtech, software, subscription, and/or ecommerce product familiarity with e-Learning platforms and technologies. Strong understanding of user experience (ux) design principles and best practices experience with data analysis tools and techniques, such as sql, excel, or tableau strong understanding of product pricing and monetization strategies strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders experience working in a startup environment or with rapidly growing companies experience with content/seo as a core customer acquisition strategy experience optimizing landing pages and funnels knowledge of a/b testing tools and best practices experience with other tools in our stack: sprig, hotjar, clarity, airtable, and metabase conversational in portuguese perks and benefits work with a distributed, global team that has been remote-First since 2018 competitive salary, benefits, and vacation policy workspace improvement stipend professional development and learning stipend.
