Art director
We are looking for an experienced and talented art director to join our creative studio in são paulo.
An ideal candidate is not only fluent in art direction but also has a solid production background and knows how to lead partners.
Working closely with our diverse team of in-House creatives like copywriters, graphic designers, motion designers, strategists and producers, you will create ideas and concepts across all mediums for brand, category and product campaigns in latam region.
If youre obsessed with all beautiful and well designed things, consistently and independently come up with a large volume of great ideas, oscillate from concept to execution seamlessly and think/move at the speed of culture, wed love to speak with you.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own work with the ability to formulate and develop ideas with minimal oversight
- Produce concepts and art direction, across a broad range of aesthetics and styles and develop storyboards with minimal assistance
- Understand strategy to ensure all ideas align with the brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Own presentations, articulate complex ideas in a concise and effective way and work directly with cross functional teams and external partners
- Work with internal design team and/or external partners to deliver best in class creative
- Produce all work efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
- 4-Year degree in graphic design, arts, communication or related field
- 8+ years work experience as an art director or graphic designer at creative agencies or in-House teams
- Senior individual contributor to do hands-On work but also with the potential to manage a team in the future
- Experience as the creative lead on video based projects (script + edition + motion + efx)
- Proficient in adobe illustrator and photoshop (after effects, 3d and/or figma is a plus)
- Ability to self-Manage time and output, know-How to handle ambiguity and several projects at the same time
- Good organization skills to file work in a manner that can be shared with the team
- English intermediate or advanced is preffered
- Online portfolio is a must.
