The associate accounting specialist is responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties, preparing and managing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, and owning the accounting for treasury accounting, fixed assets, and payroll activities. Responsibilities:helps facilitate the accounting process in monthly/quarterly closingaccurately prepare and book monthly journal entries, including prepaid, accruals, and investmentsdiligently prepare various account reconciliations, obtain the necessary detailed transactions for the account, and investigate and correct reconciling itemsforex analysis and account reconciliationsmanage the accounting for treasury accounting, fixed assets, and payroll activities, including but not limited to creating and updating reportsprepare the annual schedulesprepare bank account entries that are accurate and up to datereview the P&L miscellaneous accounts to ensure the accuracy of reportingchallenge the status quo, participate and support new projects that add value to the organizationperform other accounting duties subject to the roleprepare reconciliationsattend internal and external audit requestsmanual journal entriesprepare and submit external reportsgood interaction with entity accounting leadersin charge of F&S accounting process, e.G.
