In this role, you will need to deal with a broad set of subjects and different external and internal stakeholders, with special focus on public affairs issues - From integrity and content enforcement to regulation and free expression. You will need to have a good understanding of technology issues and the social debate around digital platforms. Candidates must also have a deep understanding of the media landscape, have strong media relations, writing skills and a strong track-Record of building successful communications position is full-Time and is located at Metas office in the city of São Paulo. Communications Manager, Brazil Responsibilities: Manage proactive and reactive communications activities on relevant integrity topics Manage the companys response to high profile issues in Brazil, including media strategy and message development, and internal escalation and reporting requirements Work cross-Functionally with internal stakeholders but mainly with Public Policy, Legal and Business leaders, and also International Communications teams members, to manage media opportunities and broader programs Counsel internal stakeholders on a broad set of communications matters ranging from media engagement strategy to crisis management Distill complex policy concepts into plain language for press, policymakers, and the general public through a wide range of written material like blog posts, Q&As, briefing materials and talking points Identify content-First and social opportunities and execute communications campaigns to support Metas strategic objectives, linked to clear goals and metrics Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Politics, Social Sciences, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience 10+ years professional experience leading media relations on issues-Rich subject matter in Brazil Outstanding Portuguese verbal and written communications skills Strong writing and story-Telling skills in English Ability to work in a fast-Paced, pressurized, dynamic and deadline-Driven environment, with excellent judgment and negotiation skills Autonomy to work with different teams and drive complex conversations Preferred Qualifications: Ability to balance multiple competing priorities, with flexibility to pivot/reprioritize quickly as needs arise Team player with strong leadership, project management, time management and collaboration skills A self-Starter with the ability to proactively come up with new ideas, build plans and successfully execute them in partnership with other communications teams and partners Experience in public affairs, media or marketing industry Benefits of working as a Communications Manager, Brazil in Brasil: Career Growth Potential Company offers career progression opportunities Attractive packageCompetitive Pay.
