Bayers products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their life mission will be to:the regional supply consultant for formulation inert is accountable for the end to end supply of formulation inerts for bayers cropprotection products within a region and is thus the key contact within product supply for formulation inerts when it comes to regional demand & supply in the 4-36 months horizon. The regional supply consultant for formulation inert is responsible to represent formulation inert needs and context from supply chain perspective in shaping sourcing solutions and risk management/mitigation strategies across many stakeholders within cropscience. Moreover, he/she is responsible to mitigate tight supply and force majeures situations in the region together with sites and relevant stakeholders to minimize impact on business for allocated portfolio within the region:- Establish and validate mid- To long-Term purchasing plan at aggregated material level based on ffp production planning and relevant planning assumptions, assure proper hand-Over to near-Term planning and drive alignment on formulation inert demand, potential upsides, events & new launches as well as priorities with relevant stakeholders (local, region, global, pro, com)- Represent formulation inert purchasing in the regional supply review meeting to reflect market developments in planning- Prepare and lead the monthly regional formulation inert review meeting- Responsible to consolidate and communicate supplier forecast to suppliers for a list of materials mutually agreed with procurement as well as collect and manage provided supplier commitment in collaboration with procurement- Provide the external procurement partner with information on the flexibility of individual materials and the relevant purchase plan- Collaborate to drive towards higher level of automatization and parameterization of formulation inert purchasing planning to leverage digitalization capabilitiesshort- And mid-Term risk mitigation and management- Understand and collaborate to optimize the inbound material flow of formulation inerts and their impact on sales of finished goods- Steer inventory and safety stock strategy and manage towards adequate inventory level and value of formulation inerts within the region in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Decide stock positions.- During supply interruption, provide guidance to sites on alternative formulation inerts and alternative suppliers as well as on possible alternative stocks to leverage at other sites / regions- During supply interruption, collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify concerned sites, to estimate potential sales impact of expected supply interruption as well as to find alternative scenarios, including guidance on flexibility of materials, to minimize impact of disruption on sales- During supply interruption, collaborate with regional and global commercial to align priorities and to allocate realized impact on sales- Manage implementation of mitigation measures during interruption of supply together with local & regional sc, commercial and fast team- Be counterpart for relevant stakeholders on local, regional, and global level to drive proactive risk management and flexibilization strategies for formulation inert portfolio of region, including identification/update of risk profile of the portfolio and derivation of adequate mitigation actions- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement and track decided mid-Term risk mitigation strategies for critical material clusters- Understand supplier landscape and material lead times in order to collaborate with procurement in evaluating a suppliers ability to supply and potential disruption risks in the suppliers supply chain (e.G. Suppliers production sites) as well as in taking the supplier awarding decision (supply split)are you ready for the position?- Bachelors degree in engineering, business, economics or related areas- Good product and market knowledge/experience in crop protection area or chemical industry- Previous experience in production/supply chain planning processes or direct materials procurement is mandatory- Strong ability to develop and implement solutions in a complex and ambiguous set-Up regarding supply chain, material flow and data basis- Ability to think strategically to imagine future scenarios and to derive adequate risk mitigation strategies- Strong leadership, collaboration and.
