What you can expect from the role?Indirects is composed by mbs (unilevers marketing and business services procurement) and logistics marketing and business services, the team is responsible for unilevers sourcing and supplier strategy and execution for all third party spend across marketing, business services, and it, supporting the business requirements of brands, divisions, markets, and functions to drive 4G growth through strategic supplier management, cost and value management, sustainability and innovation, aligned with unilevers compass. The team manages an annual spend of 9B euro with a supplier base of about 40,000.In logistics, the team is responsible for coordinating the 7-Step strategic procurement for transportion, warehousing & parcel around the globe. The team is actively working to support the business growth through optimizing the manufacturing and distribution networks, be agile and responsive, reduce cost to serve and planet positive. Unilever is in the midst of a project designed to reset the north american supply chain to be future fit. The new network is intended to support 4% annual growth through 2024 by optimizing the manufacturing and distribution networks, be agile and responsive, reduce cost to serve and planet accountabilities:understand the business needs of each one of the operating companies when it comes to indirects. Leverage ul expertise/knowledge and bring deep expertise and insights across the value chain and supply base to translate the business requirements into effective future-Fit procurement strategies for the operating transformational sourcing strategies, operating models, and supplier relationships to redefine our procurement approachdeliver against financial targets and other kpis (including value delivery) as per business plan objectiveslead supplier relationships, balancing a portfolio of global and local supplierslead a geographically dispersed team to inspire, develop, and support our people, deliver results, and create and promote a healthy business cultureliaise with internal and external stakeholders across the operating companies, to support business, market, mbs, logistics and procurement priorities and enable rapid alignment and deployment with key business services stakeholders of the procurement strategy and executionensure portfolio fundamentals (i.E.
