In this role, you will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing the quality systems for the iphone product. This role works closely with apple multi-Functional teams and contract manufacturers. Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills are essential to succeed in this position. Key qualifications solid and robust years of technical experience in operations, manufacturing and/or quality, preferably in consumer electronics good understanding of electronic design and assembly processes and testing methodologies working knowledge of statistics knowledgeable in data analysis and interpretation strong working knowledge and experience of quality fundamentals including incoming, outgoing, process quality, cosmetics, pfmea, six sigma training and application preferred experience or knowledge in failure analysis, test engineering, reliability engineering excellent communications skills ability to work in a fast-Paced, technically dynamic environment project and/or product management experience with key accomplishments highly motivated and ability to drive closure of issues across cultures proficiency in portuguese and english is mandatory descriptionleading all in region quality related issues for iphones made by apples manufacturing partners in brazil. This person will need to develop a close working relationship with our manufacturing product quality plans and systems, and managing quality bring up activities for new products at the manufacturing the product quality at the sites, working with onsite engineering and production audits at the manufacturing partners to ensure complianceusing production and field data to monitor, control and improve product quality, to improve the yield and reduce the field return closely with manufacturing partners both in region and in other regions to understand quality related factory issues and issues related to and interpreting data from multiple sources to drive systems and processes to quickly identify root cause and corrective actions. Following through on improvements and corrective lessons learned from prior projects are used to improve the quality management process, and leads to improved product quality and reliability for next generation quality updates to management/executives and the larger teams.
