The partner development manager (pdm) for financial services isvs in latin america, is an important contributor to microsofts partner engagement strategy as part of the global partner solutions (gps) organization. Microsoft aspires to offer the most comprehensive, inclusive, and profitable partner network in the industry. Gps is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at microsoft, building and selling microsoft cloud solutions, services and applications with our partner ecosystem. Together we empower customers and organizations to achieve more. The financial services isv pdm will be tasked with managing a targeted portfolio of strategic isvs and saas providers focused on the financial services industry in latin america across banking, capital markets, and insurance. You will have a deep understanding of partner and microsoft priorities to build mutually beneficial plans. You will deliver and drive the regional industry isv partner sales strategy, you will sponsor regional executive connections, drive business performance through partners, and maximize partner investments at regional level. You will work with area and core teams to drive sales execution. You will build deep partnerships with your isv partners and enable them to leverage the microsoft cloud platform and ai capabilities, to deliver differentiated ip to the market. Youll work with your isv partners to solve business challenges for our financial services customers in the region. You will have strategic and business performance responsibility for the region and coordinate with the areas for local sales, strategy and execution. Youll accelerate your career growth as you work with leading edge software companies, build strong relationships with c-Suite, and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to innovate. This role is part of a broader americas gps team, giving you the opportunity to learn and connect with colleagues and partners across canada, the united states, and latin america. Qualifications required/minimum qualifications bachelors degree in marketing, business operations, computer science or a related field and 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience. Or equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications masters degree in business administration, business science, or an advanced degree in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (stem) or a related field and 10+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experienceor equivalent experience. Language : speaks english (spanish an asset) cloud and ai technology : understanding (and/or apptitude) of trends and technologies is an asset. Responsibilities microsoft business leader trusted advisor: uses challenger mindset to build, maintain, and own a trusted-Advisor relationship with c-Suite leaders of complex partners to achieve strategic alignment and drive growth. Understands and aligns partners priorities, strategies, and goals with microsofts to build mutually beneficial account plans. Executes and drives action through partner reviews. Identifies and clearly articulates current and future business opportunities and ways to pursue them. influences and plays an active role across a complex stakeholder map. Business development: briefings to architect framework for partnership to optimize mutual success, advising leadership on building a high-Impact partnership. Develops and executes strategic partner business plans to grow partner business and promote cloud consumption and digital transformation. Champions microsoft as a valued partner by aligning vision for tech and sales with future opportunities to transform how we compete. Brings subject matter expertise to enrich ip. Deliver partner ip to market: drive technical alignment to cloud offerings, with ai at the forefront. Helps partner to convert ip and capabilities to revenue. Build plans to drive growth and transformation. Create local strategies to align partner with industry and solution area sales plays. Actively monitors market landscape and partners impact and uses in-Depth knowledge to influence the local strategy in business planning decisions. Portfolio management: evaluates managed partner portfolio to identify patterns, opportunities, and gaps in partner accounts. Proposes existing products and solutions or recommends new technologies in which partners can jointly invest to fill gaps. Aligns partner needs and interests with market opportunities. Set strategic vision: leads the creation of a long-Range strategic vision rooted to the partners impact. Demonstrates a deeper and expert understanding of the industry and partners business and how it can be integrated into the microsoft landscape to capture addressable market. Develops and maintains deep end-To-End knowledge of products, channels, end customers, and industry and market trends to share with partner. Partner sales and consumption drive sales impact: . Leads reviews of partners pipeline, top deals, and consumption targets. Shapes the thinking of partners on top deals and ensure close alignment between the partners sales team. Leads the development of partnerships to gain support for strategic transformational initiatives to drive incremental cloud growth. Leads efforts to identify new opportunities with partner. Demonstrates precise pipeline ownership, translating into advanced deal control and forecasting. Co-Sell: develops go-To-Market and co-Selling strategies with complex partners. Prioritizes and allocates incentives and go-To-Market resources across accounts. Demonstrates advanced pipeline management, broad seller mobilization, and strong leadership sponsorship. Prioritizes co-Selling and customer transactions through marketplace. Go to market: develops plans to work on deals to gain commercial and consumer share. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of gtm programs and campaigns, and actively coaches team. Identifies new sources of gtm funding. Identifies strategies to build and launch integrated industry specific offerings on marketplace with partners. Partner performance and impact deliver results: executes a rhythm to track to business outcomes. Advocates to and guides other groups in prioritizing partners solutions and issues. Champions internal processes that benefit partners and brings insights into the organization. actively seeks opportunities to demonstrate the value of the partner to other organizations within microsoft. Wins market share to grow the business. Financial services industry experience: knowledge of financial services landscape in brazil and latin america knowledge of isv & saas ecosystem in brazil and latin america experience in banking, insurance, or capital markets is an asset.
