With our commitment to a sustainable future, a career with kerry is something you can feel good the role:this is an individual contributor role which will have responsibility for the business development of kerrys food protection and preservation technology in latam, it will report to the applied, health and nutrition lead and in dotted line to the business development vice president in the united would you do?:- Collaborating with the kerry sales teams, working as a team to develop new opportunities and drive business growth for fp&p with key identified strategic accounts in the region. Targeting r&d, marketing and procurement within the customer as necessary to drive projects.- Effective communication of the technical benefits of kerrys food protection and preservation offerings (i) within kerry and (ii) to existing and potential customers with appropriate follow- Up on day-To day customer queries and communication of key action points to relevant personnel.- Coordination of technical and commercial support for kerrys existing food protection and preservation business in latam.- Development of business strategy & plans: accountable for achieving a deep level of understanding of customers objectives and strategies, competitive intelligence, market trends (including changes in regulatory environment), consumer insights, and identification of opportunity spaces. The objective is to translate these into actionable business plans that will achieve significant value creation for kerry and the customer. Technical business development will be responsible for the execution of such plans/ strategies.- Commercial support of eum sales teams: a) develop value propositions/ customer facing communications/ presentations for specific customer opportunities. B) provide product specific information needed to support sales opportunities, c) ensure that pricing information is provided on a timely basis, d) conduct product training (group and one-On-One, e) other misc. Sales support.- Identification of new opportunity spaces: play a key role in the team to develop new fp&p solutions, ensuring we translate intelligence gained with customers into new solutions that address customers needs into the future.- Management of sales forecasts and supporting customer service to ensure inventory stocks accurately reflect customer will you need to be successful?:- At least 5 years of sales experience and fp&p (food protection and preservation) technical experience as well as microbiology background or knowledge. Also, previous global account management experience.- Food engineering or related academic background.- Advanced english communication skills, spanish highly desirable.- Availability to travel at least 10 working days a is in it for you?:- Direct collaboration with rda, marketing, sales functions within the latam region which implies high level of exposure.- Opportunity to grow within or out of the region.- Total rewards compensation (company car assigned to the position, annual bonus, flexibility program, etc.).
