The transfer as a service (mft) operations engineerwill be part of a team which designs, builds and operates global azure, aws andon-Premises environments incl. Integration of siemens healthineers (shs). The ideal candidate for this role will haveoperations and development experience in managed file transfer and cloudarchitecture. The role will support devops in an operations role. The candidatewill be a valuable member of the hybrid cloud team which is responsible forensuring all cloud services are operating effectively and efficiently at shs. Your missionand responsibilities: supportintegration and particular transfer as a service (mft) devops in anoperations role collaboratewith the development team on customer requests and demands workclosely and in partnership with various operational support teams, developmentteams, project managers, vendors, and internal clients manage,maintain, and monitor our goanywhere mft servers, web application servers,reverse proxies, web application firewall and database servers, scheduled tasksand data transfers (https, ftps, sftp, open ft, windows-Based and linux based) check,control, modify and apply security settings (following the principal of leastprivileges, document deviations) on operating system, service, job andapplication level analyzeand solve incidents and problems for services, applications or jobs running onour systems supportimplementation of change requests related to data transfer services,applications or jobs running on our systems skills: bachelors degree in computer science, engineering orequivalent experience. hybrid model, going to the office once a month advanced english to communicatewith global team expert experience on goanywhere andfile catalyst good knowledge on tools by helpsystems (goanywhere mft, threat detection and prevention) would be an addedadvantage programming knowledge (e.G., powershell,perl, bash, php, .Net, sql) logic based automations using msflows.
