Drawing on more than a century of experience in crop nutrition, yara established the digital innovation division to explore how technology can beused to improve farmers lives and and responsibilitiesthe senior data engineer - Customer data platform will be instrumental in the development of the digital innovation americas customer data strategy, to support the vision that will enable us to have data supporting core decisions. This role will see an experienced professional managing the customer data platform and actively define best practices for the team. This person shall be able to identify and propose enhancements to the data environment, plan and act accordingly. It requires understanding of technology and processes for managing data and the ability to interface with people within the data organisation and across the of the main responsibilities include:work closely with data engineers, data analysts and software engineers to develop, construct, test and maintain user data collection of our digital solutions (web and app)support product teams in event tracking governance of behaviour data and customer attributescontribute on the development of the customer data platform (segment, customer 360 view), from data ingestion to modelling to oversight of the platformsupport data governance to ensure the data is collected, stored and processed as per industry practices and gdpr-Compliantsupport the marketing and growth teams in the implementation of 3rd party marketing tools (clevertab, appsflyer, googleads, etc.) and provide technical support to marketing automationsupport end-To-End visibility of customer journey from acquisition to event tracking to engagement marketingrequired profileat least a bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or related fieldsolid experience working as a data engineer with hands-On experience in data engineering projects such as writing sql queries, data pipelining, api provisioning, database optimisation / maintenance understanding of data management fundamentals and data infrastructure maintenanceexperience in deploying a 360 customer view and marketing automation is welcomeexperience working with google analytics 4 and firebase is welcomeadvanced english required.
