Were looking for a head of technology responsible for manage anddevelop technology strategies, road maps development and technologyteam professional will lead and develop our team ofcommitted developers, devops, testers and sys admins to deliver ourtechnology roadmap, maintain and support our digital commerce platformto our customers and internal staff. Also, extensive experience inagile delivery management, resource and capacity management both ofinternal teams and external resources to build skills and capacity,where needed. The head of technology will drive the ways of working inour development processes, improving the quality of our technicalsolutions and ensuring we can deliver value as early as possible usinga range of methodologies. Key accountabilities ?Lead the technologyteam to continue the planning, development and implementation of thecompany technology roadmap, including the creation and transition to asustainable architecture, based on best practice ?Own the planning andprioritising of resources across the technology team to ensure aneffective balance between our products delivery and ongoingmaintenance and support of our platforms and services ?Provide overalltechnical leadership and direction to the organisation and thetechnology team, encouraging controlled innovation and improvement inthe technology and data systems, processes and ways of working ?Workcollaboratively with the staff (and partners), where relevant, at alllevels across the organisation to ensure that our digital andtechnology services and products are customer-Led, cost-Effective,scalable, easy to use and meet current and future needs ?Furtherdevelop our capability, processes and team structures in managingchange, agile software development and rapid deployment and cybersecurity ?Ensure that a clear vision and delivery plan for ourtechnology and technology development roadmap is communicated to allstaff and that ongoing delivery is transparent and well-Communicatedacross the group and that all dependencies and risk are well managed?Ensure teams /squads are well-Balanced and have (or to have accessto) the correct technical skills to succeed ?Develop, resource,maintain and deliver a backlog of development request to support thecontinuous improvement and maintenance of our platform. ?Plan andcommunicate the technical release plan of our platform ?Proactivelyremoving impediments to productivity and progress toward continuousdeployment provide overall technical leadership and direction to theorganisation and the technology team, encouraging controlledinnovation and improvement in the technology and data systems,processes and ways of workingthis list is not exhaustive and there maybe other activities you are required to deliver. ?Management andleadership experience in a technology role similar sized organisationor business unit ?Hands-On experience of agile delivery managementwith mixed teams of inhouse and external developers ?Experience ofsuccessfully building, managing and motivating multidisciplinarytechnical teams ?Experience of planning and delivering digitalproducts and services using agile development techniques to meetcustomer expectations and deliver cost effective robust solutions?Experience of technology operations management and the use of newtechnologies to improve cost effectiveness and performance?Understanding and experience of serverless applications,infrastructure, design and architecture, including hosted applicationswith aws ?Knowledge and understanding of the digital and datalandscape as well as emerging technologies ?Teamwork and goodproblem-Solving skills about us ascential delivers specialistinformation, analytics and ecommerce optimisation platforms to theworlds leading consumer brands and their ecosystems.
