In this role, youwill direct thedelivery of the companys sustainability commitmentswithin the supplychains, create customer value throughcommercialization of thosecredentials and provide thought leadershipinternally and externallyin your area of expertise. Keyaccountabilitieslead the development ofsustainability strategy andtactics for the food ingredients and bio-Industrial enterpriseintegrating and synchronizing across thegroups and functions anddevelop the budget and other resourcerecommendations necessary toaccomplish strategic goals. Leadcargills commercial sustainabilitystrategy, including discovery andleveraging cross value chainconnections, development of signatureprograms and other businessinitiatives to achieve financial targets engage with targetedcustomers to discuss related sustainabilityprinciples, strategicalignment and overall theories of change onbehalf of the enterprise toachieve consensus and overcome barriers,contributing to retention andgrowth of our market share withcustomers. Drive corporatenongovernmental organization engagementplans and focus areas ensuingalignment with the business or corporatesustainability approach andchallenges. Identify and connectcorporate, business and supply chainopportunities to commercializesustainability. Partner with marketingand communications to positionsustainability initiatives and offeringsand support related businessand functional teams in internal andexternal engagements withfinancial organizations to raise awareness ofour programs andindustry trends and solicit partnerships on greenfinance. Representthe company at targeted external forums, webinarsand seminars wherethe focus is on corporate or cross supply chainmessaging and relevantand pivotal to building brand trust andvisibility. Lead theengagement of leadership to integratesustainability and theestablishment and integration of sustainabilitykey performanceindicators for commercial managers, sustainabilityteams andbusinesses and develop and coordinate input to align them toreportingneeds. Other duties as assigned provide strategicleadership,development and talent management activities for directreports andtheir organizations, which may include forecasting resourceneeds,recruiting, hiring, performance management, training andbudgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors inyourorganization to ensure staff selections align with current andfutureneeds. Qualificationsminimum qualificationsbachelors degree inarelated field or equivalent experience experience representinganorganization for large events and media engagements minimum ofeightyears of related work experience, five years of supervisoryexperiencepreferred qualificationsmasters degree in business,sustainability,or relevant field experience working across foodingredients andbio-Industrial supply chains or the wider foodingredients industry commercial experience working for / withdownstream suppliers andcustomers on sustainability (retailers, foodservice, and consumerpackage goods companies) proven ability to linkand buildsustainability impacts and commercial relationships equalopportunityemployer, including disability/vet.
