As a territory business manager at hms networks, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth in the brazilian market. Your primary focus will be on direct and channel customers, including systems integrators, machine builders, oems, device manufacturers, and end users in brazil. You must possess an entrepreneurial mindset to effectively execute the long-Term business development strategy for growth in brazil. This role requires a strong background in industrial automation, application engineering, iiot applications, and technical sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing, training, guiding, and maintaining the channel partner network within the territory. The territory business manager will form part of the latin america sales team and will report directly to the regional manager for latin america located in the us. The candidate must reside in brazil and must have a dedicated home workspace to execute responsibilities when not traveling. What you will be doing: develop and execute the annual sales strategy specifically for the brazilian territory, ensuring the achievement of individual and organizational growth objectives. Collaborate with your manager for review and feedback. Achieve sales quotas and assigned strategic account objectives in brazil, maintaining a strong focus on delivering customer value. Generate technical sales proposals and contracts, showcasing the benefits of our product families to customers in brazil. Drive product specification and adoption in the brazilian market, demonstrating expertise in digital hardware, microprocessor development, embedded software, industrial ethernet, and tcp/ip communication protocols (ethernet/ip, profinet, etc.). Expand mindshare in existing customer accounts in brazil and proactively identify new opportunities for business growth in the region. Identify and approach prospective accounts in brazil, conducting effective sales calls and maintaining records in our crm system. Engage with customers in brazil to understand their needs, anticipate challenges, and provide customized solutions for their unique requirements. Develop and implement account management plans to foster growth within large accounts in brazil, including custom product development sales. Demonstrate continuous learning, staying abreast of technical advancements to deliver impactful technical presentations to customers and partners. Represent the company at industry events and meetings, establishing a strong brand presence in the market. Collaborate with the global hms networks team to share insights, best practices, and customer feedback, while tailoring strategies for the brazilian market. Successfully manage, train, guide, and maintain the channel partner network within brazil, ensuring they uphold our high standards of conduct and business practices. Minimum requirements: bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field preferred. Working technical knowledge in industrial automation controls, industrial communication protocols, or industrial ethernet and tcp/ip technologies. 3-5 years of industry-Related outside sales experience in brazil with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated experience in selling engineered/embedded products and solutions to customers in brazil. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts. Strong organizational skills, enabling successful multitasking and prioritization in a dynamic market. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, taking ownership of your territorys success. Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, which may include overnight stays and day trips, dependent on the candidates location. Full professional proficiency in english. Proficiency in customer relationship management applications (ms-Crm, salesforce, etc.). Proficiency in microsoft office, including word, excel, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package for this position.
