Job specifics/responsibilities: Manage cloud advisory and multi-Cloud and hybrid-Cloud engagements, solution, design, and planning, and oversee project delivery. Define and optimize managed services in multi cloud environments in at least two public clouds preferable aws and azure but not exclusive (azure, aws) Lead pre-Sales advisory and post-Sales advisory engagements directly with customer/ dxc account teams and provide the appropriate cloud advisory service and solution towards the business need Ability to understand the business needs and drivers for cloud migration and modernization and design the cloud migration and modernization as well as technology decisions accordingly Client advocacy to develop, maintain and harvest customer relationships at cxos and mid-Management levels to generate new digital business Lead various activities in an cloud advisory engagement which includes but not limited to application discovery, application portfolio assessment, cloud business case, application rationalization, multi-Cloud migration/ modernization assessment, application deep-Dive, cloud migration and modernization agile factory transformation design and program governance, enterprise architecture guidelines in cloud, landing zone design, project and program governance, it-Modernization consulting. Lead solution architecture, design in the following areas: o paas in at least two public clouds (aws/azure) such as aws rds, elastic beanstalk, azure app service plan o iaas in at least two public clouds (aws/azure) such as storage and vms related services o well-Architected frameworks for scalable and secure multi-Tier applications migrations and deployment to hybrid-Cloud model o analyze both application as well as infrastructure design elements in a solution and architecture design o landing zone design, cloud blueprint design and network/security architecture design o windows, lamp stack and linux experience o experience with high availability and disaster recovery implementations o good understanding of sre and dev-Sec-Ops on hybrid cloud o good experience of solution and designing application and infrastructure monitoring solutions o experience with cloud-Native applications design and architecture for serverless, microservices, and kubernetes Ensure that all data required to plan/execute the advisory project is collected, validated, and updated dxc modernization studio data repository to ensure all data is 3c-Data (correct, current, complete) for all source data points Lead various activities in an cloud advisory engagement which includes but not limited to application discovery, application portfolio assessment, cloud business case, application rationalization, multi-Cloud migration/ modernization assessment, application deep-Dive, cloud migration and modernization agile factory transformation design and program governance, enterprise architecture guidelines in cloud, landing zone design, project and program governance, it-Modernization consulting, continuous optimization assessment. Key skills Experience with large and complex hybrid-Cloud and multi-Cloud migration and modernization projects in an advisory/consulting capacity Experience in discovery for cloud migrations and modernization initiatives to multi-Cloud Certified solution architect in at least one public cloud, preferably multi-Cloud such as aws and azure but not exclusive (gcp, ocp, vmware etc) Basic understanding of data gathering tools depending on the cloud (e.G. Universal discovery, aws apps discovery, azure migrate, device42, azure app service migration assistant etc.) Experienced in agile and scale agile delivery Experienced in understanding and design for current state and target state enterprise architecture for a hybrid-Cloud estate Dev-Sec-Ops, and ci-Cd toolchain/pipeline on respective public clouds Knowledge with agile/scrum and scaled agile Experience on sql and no-Sql database for hybrid cloud setup Dev-Ops automation with aws cloud formation, chef, puppet, ansible (depending on the cloud) Microservices design experience as well as scalable cloud-Native application design experience with serverless architecture Understanding and strong experience of migration tools and techniques to aws and azure preferable, gcp, oci and others desirable Proficient in microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint Ability to learn and/or experience with dxc advisory analysis tools. Desired skills Experience in application modernization and application integration projects from legacy technologies to modern technologies and experience with application enterprise integration projects to open up apis/interfaces for applications and introduce integration middleware/ platforms Enterprise architecture certified and trained (togaf or equivalent) Experience with dev-Sec-Ops assessment projects for transformation to cloud other requirements: Fluent in written and verbal english personal skills and qualities: Strong project management skills Interest in interacting with dxc customers A desire and interest to learn new technologies what are we offering?
