Direct and coordinate the activities of managers and employees engaged in the production of food products.2. Demonstrate positive leadership practices including setting clear goals with managers and employees, providing regular feedback, and contributing to a positive and motivational work environment.3. Work with maintenance and engineering to develop strategies to reduce production equipment downtime due to equipment failures.4. Coordinate with various departments and personnel across the site to ensure efficient operations within the plant5. Assume complete responsibility for all activities of the plant and performance.6. Calculate labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard overall project management support to ensure objectives are met8. Build a competent team by communicating corporate objectives and expectations to direct reports.9. Enforce plant gmps, food safety policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations.
