The entry level flight controls engineer will support boeing commercial airplanes (bca).We are seeking accomplished, self-Motivated engineer to design, analyze, test and certify flight control systems and components for large commercial aircraft as well as to support the production and fleet operations of this equipment. The flight controls team is currently engaged in the challenging and exciting work of bringing new derivative airplanes into service as well as getting prepared to create the more capable, more efficient and even safer airliners of the flight controls engineering team is responsible to develop and integrate the systems functions related to aircraft trajectory and performance control (e.G., cockpit controls, lateral, directional, longitudinal controls, flap/slats, etc.) including fly-By-Wire technology and all related electro-Electronics and actuation components and flight control laws and auto-Flight successful candidate will be assigned to one of the following flight control disciplines: flight control electronics, flight controls actuation, flight control systems integration, flight control laws or position is for engineering entry-Level candidates. The entry-Level engineer will engage in a training plan related to the assigned flight controls discipline and will receive guidance from experienced engineers for his/her initial work assignments, that may include many of the tasks listed responsibilities:support the derivation of airplane level requirements into flight control system level requirements and resolve system level requirements into component requirements with time and cost-Efficient validation methodssupport flight control system laboratory and flight-Tests, including: analysis and test report authoring supplier test report reviews test failure analysis and test failure mitigationsupport flight control system and subsystem architecture alternatives trade studies to meet aircraft requirements and objectivesdevelop simulation models of flight control system and sub-System components using dynamic simulation tools like matlab/simulinkdevelop flight control systems integration models using mbse (model-Based systems engineering) sysml toolsparticipate in flight control system certification effortssupport on-Going production efforts including: timely resolution of build problems at boeing and supplier manufacturing facilities identifying and implementing design improvements to build accuracy, build rate, and production line safety and timely resolution of rejections, functional test failures and flight squawkssupport global fleet operations including: subject matter expert consultation for airline and regulator queries participate in resolution efforts to resolve service related problems (srp) and analyze reported flight incidents to provide recommendations to the safety review board (srb) for continued operational safety program (cosp) determinationsgenerally, these activities may require successful cross-Functional coordination within and outside of boeing including: manufacturing, avionics, crew operations, airplane safety, aerodynamics, supply chain management, bca systems software, suppliers, airline customers, and regulatory agenciesthis position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. Cnpq or capes, fapesp scholarship) within any of these areas: aeronautical, aerospace, electrical, electronics, computing, mechatronics, control and automation, robotics, hydromechanicsparticipation in sae aero design competitionsome experience using requirement management tools such as ibm rational doorsexperience with dynamic systems simulation tools such as matlab/simulinksome experience with model-Based systems simulation (sysml)some experience with software programming languages like python, c, c++, java, javascript, phpsome experience with aeronautical, automotive or industrial product/systems development and testingsome experience with control system and component troubleshootingsome experience with manufacturing regulated and certified, safety critical components and softwarerelevant post-Secondary education in the engineering domainrelocation:-Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
