Position summaryas a qa manager, you will play an essential role in shaping the future of software and products we create. You will work with our product leaders, developers and designers as part of a team that digests business perspectives and develops software for an early employee of a growing company, you will also be responsible for co-Creating our culture and core business processes.A successful qa manager candidate will be able to execute on testing activities while also building process and workflow with the team. The end goal for this position is to establish excellent practices and procedures that the team follows religiously to ensure we deliver high quality software. This will be the starting point for beginning to hire and build a qa team within the org. Key responsibilities work closely with product and design to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality and performance. Conduct thorough and systematic testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues. Collaborate with cross-Functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure testing aligns with business objectives. Document and report test results, track defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Participate in product design and requirement discussions to provide input from a qa perspective. Develop improved standards for production and design, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into qa processes. Conduct test planning, test design, test scripting, and manual test execution within the test life cycle. Make recommendations for automation of testing over time. Required skills and experience excellent english language skills, proficient in communicating technical problems in english, verbally and in writing. Strong knowledge of software qa methodologies, tools, and processes. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience in manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in cross-Functional teams. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. Passion for delivering high-Quality software products and ensuring a great user experience. General knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks such as python, java, react, vuejs, nodejs, etc. Familiarity with various database platforms such as mysql/mssql. Experience working in startups or other high-Demand, fast-Paced environments is a plus. Personal attributeswe seek a self-Motivated individual with a proactive attitude.
