Our company is headquartered in auburn hills, michigan, usa, with a global network of more than 43,000 employees in 25 team is passionate about the automotive industry, focused on delivering quality and innovation for the duties: Conduct audits with the global internal audit team in accordance with institute of internal auditing (iia) standards and participate in a variety of business financial and operational auditso participate in planning and scoping of internal audits. Develop and refine applicable internal audit programs as necessary and appropriateo conduct business interviews and document key business process control points in narratives and flow charts.O support communication, such as conducting meetings and interviews with the audit client, operational management, external auditors, and other stakeholderso perform audit fieldwork (operations, compliance, regulatory, finance, c-Sox audits, etc.)o prepare written audit reports with observations and recommendationso conducting closing meetings to obtain management buy-In on findings and recommended action plans Perform design and operational effectiveness testing of the companys internal controls over financial reporting Follow-Up on corrective actions taken by operating management related to audits and self-Assessment findings. Support internal audit strategic initiatives including but not limited to the quality assurance improvement program (qaip), and drafting internal audit policies and procedures Support ia leadership team in preparing high impact, high quality presentations Other duties as assignedrequired skills: Excellent critical thinking and problem-Solving skills Strong organizational and project management skills Strong computer skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work effectively as a team High level of integrity, to maintain the confidential nature of the internal audit work Process improvement mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in an unstructured environment Good understanding of institute of internal auditor (iia) standards and internal control frameworks (sox).
