We are looking to hire highly-Skilled software engineers to work in a new blockchain platform. This is an emerging and exciting technology. You will be part of a team that is highly proficient on blockchain where you can be challenged and evolve. You need to have a very solid background on programming languages, cryptography, computer networking, distributed systems, algorithms and data-Structures, and you need to have a solid understanding about blockchain technology and development of dapps. Your primary responsibility will be analysing requirements, designing the best software methods, and building and launching a blockchain network and distributed apps. Key responsibilities . Research, design, develop, and test blockchain technologies.. Design and develop distributed apps with blockchain technology. Develop high quality, secure and maintainable software for our blockchain products. Ensure scalable, reusable and secure software using industry best practices. Audit and code-Review with other elements of the team. Test the implementations to assure the maximum quality and reliability.. Document the software and the solutions. Collaborate with front-End and backend developers on the system integration. Maintain a pro-Active attitude keeping up-To-Date knowledge about the blockchain industry. Participate in discussions around blockchain software architectures. Requirements . Bsc or msc on computer science or computer engineering. Solid understanding about blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and tokens. Strong software development background. Experience working with open-Source projects and large codebases. Familiar with multiple programming languages, such as: java, javascript, go, solidity. Familiar with blockchain technology basics (platforms, types, algorithms, smart contracts). Experience with architecture and design of distributed and p2p applications. Experience with the development of cloud native software. Familiarity with cryptography and security mechanisms. Ability to learn fast about new technologies and explain to others. Experience with serverless architecture and aws services is a plus. Strong analytical skills and problem-Solving attitude. Fluent in english Additional information Job location: you must be willing to move to portugal. When you are already working with us from portugal, home office in your new home is accepted.
