Description qualifications: boeing brazil is seeking an associate electronic systems design engineer, reporting to the electrical and electronic engineering manager, working out of the sao jose dos campos - Sp office. The associate electronic systems design engineer will join the integrated modular avionics (ima) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of integrated modular avionics (ima) platform architecture and airplane electronic hardware (aeh) & software. Responsibilities include translation of concepts and high-Level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software. Verification of system designs at the component, system and airplane levels. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-Service support. Position responsibilities: component design, development and qualification to applicable aerospace standards system requirements documentation, validation, and verification participating in development of system safety analysis integrate with ima platform hosted functions to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements verification of system designs to meet operational and functional requirements collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements this position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic qualifications (required skills/experience): must have existing rights to work in brazil must have a degree in engineering relevant experience in electronic & electrical design engineering proficient verbal and written communications skills in english preferred qualifications (education/experience): electrical or computer engineering degree experience within electronic systems hardware and software design familiarity with engineering processes and methods experience working with cross functional teams demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment experience with model based development tools relocation: -Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
