Wyndham grand rio mar, rio grande, pr, pr 3 days ago requisition id: 1180 job summarythe catering corporate manager is our ambassador to our catering corporate market with our wyndham grand rio mar and wyndham palmas resorts. This role will is responsible for the development of market segment(s) and solicitation of new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with corporate and social accounts while consistently striving to maximize revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiations, and completion of catering contracts. This role will focus on selling specifically, but not limited to the corporate segment for our wyndham grand rio mar and wyndham palmas resort & experienceat least 4-Year college degree preferred, but not experience, 3+ years experience as a catering or conference services manager in a full service resort or reading, writing, oral proficiency in the english and spanish interpersonal skills with a track record of successful client and people development working with revenue target sales goals organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to to work long irregular hours, weekends, to negotiate, organize, delegate and work under of audio-Visual equipment, internet, and telecommunication of delphi sales/ catering software, and opera pmsmust be proficient in microsoft office applications, excel spreadsheets, word, powerpointforbes service experience preferred, but not of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and requirementslong hours sometimes work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move weather conditionsextensive travel may be required to meet clients and events at either palmas or rio mar locations. #J-18808-Ljbffr.
