Our team of industry experts serve our client base, including the largest oil & gas and energy companies, governments, financial and service energy is looking for a biofuels analyst to work in our são paulo or rio de janeiro offices as a part of our global bioenergy team and contribute with our research practice. Your primary task will be to survey biofuels activity and upcoming project pipeline in brazil and globally and to provide our clients with leading and relevant intelligence. We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills, technical or energy-Related educational background and work experience. Candidates will be required to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic work bioenergy team is a part of the analyst department at rystad energy and is responsible for maintaining and developing our database and research products within the biofuels space. The work consists of collecting and analyzing data, developing primary research networks, writing reports and regular narratives, and presenting to our clients. This will give you a deep understanding of the regional and global biofuels industry and you will work in close collaboration with our consultants and programmers, as well as our business developers. Prior biofuels related experience is preferred for the obtain and analyze asset-Level supply data for all bioliquids sectors (e.G. Ethanol, biodiesel, renewable diesel, wide range of 2g-4g feedstock liquids initiatives) and perform regular updates for core regions globally map bottlenecks associated with both supply chain and feedstock availability by type analyze biofuel demand potential by sector paying particular attention to policies, targets and tax incentives at a country level assess and model biofuels cost of production write insightful commentaries and participate in webinars on industry trends contribute with our broader research practice (e.G. Oil markets/downstream) in assessing global liquids production balances support our external clients, consultants and business development team experience & skills 2-5 years of relevant work experience university degree in a data driven field such as mathematics, engineering, economics or finance/ business solid analytical and problem-Solving skills ability to communicate well both verbally and written fluent in english, spanish and/or portuguese . Self-Motivated, proactive, and independent as well as a strong team player the working place will be in our offices in rio de janeiro.
