As the director of productfor the talent side of andelas marketplace, you will be responsiblefor developing and delivering the product roadmap and execution for awide range of initiatives across our marketplace. You will have directresponsibility for leading a team of managers of product managerswithin the andela organization. You will collaborate across theorganization with senior leadership and critical businessstakeholders, and be responsible for the evolution and optimization ofthe andela marketplace. This rolewill report to the vp of product. General responsibilities - Lead thestrategic direction of the product for the talent side of themarketplace, for both growth and user experience led productsdefining and articulating new opportunities, and working in closeconcert with executive leadership, the engineering team and variousbusiness teams - Focus areas include the entire talent side:acquisition, assessment, activation, community & engagementexperience, and talent retention. - Establish product kpis and goalsfor the talent side of the marketplace platform, and develop long termstrategies and products to achieve them - Create the vision andarticulate the short and long term product strategy for our coreproduct teams, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap forthe larger andela organization - Collaborate closely with our growth &product marketing teams to grow our talent community and continuouslybring innovate products to market - Be responsible for the managementand leadership development of several product managers within theorganization - Help the team scale through operational excellence ineverything you do, from planning, to team management, to communicationprocesses requirements: - 10 years of experience in productmanagement, across the full product development lifecycle, includingproduct discovery, development, launch, maintenance, and ongoingmanagement - 6 years of product leadership experience, both throughpeer influence, and through direct management of individualcontributors - Experience building successful saas products, scaled tothousands of customers and/or large scale marketplaces with millionsof end users. B2c marketplace experience is a major plus. - Experienceof directly managing a diverse team of remote-First productprofessionals, including being a hiring manager to build a team, andcareer coaching to develop individuals from junior to seniorcontributors - Demonstrated successful development of multipleproducts within fast-Paced organizations delivered into rapidlygrowing markets - Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinatecross-Functional teams to deliver products, including teams in datascience, product design, engineering, business operations, and finance- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the abilityto effortlessly present to a cxo audience and an engineering groupalike - Data driven decision making mindset based on best practicesfor measurement and analysis, including sufficient familiarity withdata to actively monitor product health - Ability to weigh competingpriorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas withstakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus onoverarching business priorities - Experience managing similar jobs head of marketing and communications, latin america - Fast hire.
