Are you?The positionby joining our team in exploration & production international you will have the opportunity to:be a strategic business partner and key member of the management committee for the epi business in brazil. This role will hold responsibility for:- Driving the business agenda through a safety, security, and sustainability (ssu) lens and leading execution of the defined ssu strategy.- Driving complex change through managing targeted improvement work by supporting and challenging the line.- Providing strategic input and influence across functional requirements including, but not limited to: safety, security, cyber, human rights, climate and biodiversity, social performance, authority relations for ssu, emergency response and business continuity as well as competence and capacity building of the above in brazil organisation.- Securing alignment with corporate ssu and collaboration with the ssu centre of excellence for delivery of the above functional requirements.- Identifying opportunities in your own area to contribute to its commercial success and be responsible for increasing efficiency and effectivenessin addition, this role is a key member of the country management committee as the functional head of ssu in brazil, with the following responsibility:- Establishing and follow-Up the functional framework in the country based on equinor framework and policies and local regulations to ensure compliance.- Advising and coach the country manager in all function-Specific needs.- Establishing a coordination mechanism to ensure functional alignment and learning across the brazil business- Supporting the country manager to drive a one equinor culture, and drive corporate and ba ssu priorities in the clusteryousome qualities are essential for equinor. For this position, we are also looking for:- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (15 - 20 years of experience desired).- Strong safety leadership skills as well as operational and offshore experience.- Strong strategic business partnering skills within the energy industry.- Bachelors in relevant area (masters preferred).- Fluency in english and portuguese.- Credible and comfortable working with senior leadership, directors and executives, preferably having operated at a senior leadership level previously.- Proven leadership skills and strategic thinking capability.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to navigate complex and conflicting agendas.- Solid experience of how safety, security and sustainability can add value to the business strategy and performance.- Willingness to continuously develop professional and leadership competence.- An ability to be pro-Active, solution orientated and to eagerly drive change and improvements.- Willingness to travel domestically and overseas occasionally which may include overnight information- Why join us?At equinor, we care about each other as much as our business.
