Job description job overview: the senior manager accounting with strong technical and managerial skill team management and communication skills. Ability to multi-Task and manage tight reporting schedules this position will be responsible for all statutory and management reporting requirements in brazil, including overseeing project financial reporting and ensuring compliance to local and corporate policies. Responsibilities key tasks and responsibilities: management of functions such as general ledger accounting, intercompany, bank reconciliations, hedge accounting. Responsible for project accounting function in brazil and overseeing all project finance needs. Work closely with project management, scm hr, legal, to ensure compliance to procedures provide inputs to bids, prepare and review tax strategy oversee accounts payable, cash forecast, tax function in brazil prepare and review forex management plan for projects and brazil operations ensure compliance to applicable accounting standards, company policies and procedures the person is expected to work on multiple projects at any given time, and some of the work may require fast turnaround. Most will require the professional to read through complex documents, identify the relevant accounting issues, and then conduct research to address the issues. The successful candidate must be versatile and proactive with a solid work ethic, strong leadership skills, and ability to work well as a member of a team. Qualifications essential qualifications and education: degree in accounting, professional qualification 5-10 years experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
