Job description job overview: responsible for all stages of planning, execution through to closure with a focus on contract management (meeting all milestones set out in contract, payment management and deliverables). Responsibilities key tasks and responsibilities: develop the project procurement and subcontracting plan develop list of proposers for each type of scope to be subcontracted pre-Qualify new subcontractors and suppliers liaise with contracts manager for preparation of special main contract flows/conditions to be applied to key packages ensure that the scope of work and other requirements pertinent to a specific work package are clearly defined (e.G. Payment milestones, deliverables, progress reports, etc.) responsible for drafting request for proposals and negotiating terms and conditions in accordance with policies and procedures perform commercial evaluation of proposals and make recommendation for award after completion of technical evaluation negotiate cost reduction and savings conduct proposal clarifications and pre-Award meetings as needed clearly understand the interfaces between mcdermott and suppliers/subcontractors and ensure responsibilities are clearly addressed in the subcontract/purchase order documents prepare award recommendations for management team review and signature chair initial meetings with key suppliers and subcontractors facilitate pre-Production meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and distributed in a timely manner keep the project procurement and subcontracting plan up to date and hold weekly progress meetings with key project stakeholders to monitor dates and address delays, attention/risk points, opportunities, etc have all necessary logs to track order/contract progress, such as qualification log, technical query (tq) log, award/deviation request log, scope change request log, invoice log, etc. (as applicable) resolve disputes, complaints, and performance issues in the execution of the order/contract develop the project procurement and subcontracting plan develop list of proposers for each type of scope to be subcontracted pre-Qualify new subcontractors and suppliers liaise with contracts manager for preparation of special main contract flows/conditions to be applied to key packages ensure that the scope of work and other requirements pertinent to a specific work package are clearly defined (e.G. Fluent advanced english. Minimum of 10 years experience administering the full contracts lifecycle preferably in the oil & gas business.
