American consulting and software development company contracts: senior devops engineer - English fluent responsibilities: ?Reate cutting edge cloud/on-Prem infrastructure using infrastructure-As-Code and automation when needed. Build and improve cloud and on-Prem infrastructure self-Service tooling that powers our internal platform used by hundreds of developers. Participate in technical discussions to aid system design, analysis, and troubleshooting. Help engineering teams to develop, test, debug and release scalable, resilient, cloud-Native applications quickly. Conhecimentos requirements: 5+ experience working as a devops engineer. Docker swarm and kubernetes experience is critical. Experience with prometheus, grafana, elk stack ability to write clean code in at least one language. Demonstrated experience supporting at least one of the predominant public clouds (aws, azure, or gcp). Good knowledge of windows or linux operating systems. Experience with managing on-Premise data center infrastructure. Experience working with infrastructure-As-Code tools such as terraform, cloudformation, cloud deployment manager. Understanding of tcp and ip networking protocols and related technologies. Experience building orchestration and automation pipelines (azure devops, jenkins). Virtualization experience and understanding of the concepts. Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills and ability to write clear technical documentation. Able to turn design and implementation into documentation, presentations, and training. Good communication skills in english, both written and verbal. Would be A plus: understanding the basic building blocks of a resilient and scalable software. A good understanding of cloud computing concepts and solutions, including public, private, and hybrid cloud. A good understanding of cloud security, security groups, and encryption keys.
