Using standardized procedures ensures that all material necessary for conducting laboratory experiments is prepared properly and on time. Supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory equipment by interacting with global genotyping partners, automation and instrumentation support team, and 3rd party technical assistance teams. Assists with miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning, handling, packaging and storing laboratory material. Operates and maintains complex equipment in support of experiments conducted within a research project. Actively participate in procedures such as dna extraction, buffer preparation, and pcr analysis. May have limited accountability for overseeing and/or directing the work of others. Compiles and records information using computer software and databases. May write experimental reports, summaries and protocols. Appropriate agricultural, biological sciences or engineering degree with 0-2 years experience in related field or equivalent level of relevant education and laboratory experience. Proficiency in microsoft office and power platform products preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in portuguese and english. Skills required for an agile and clear communication with internal and external partners under a global team perspective. Strong technical & analytical capabilities. Flexibility to work as multifunctional team member, in a high-Throughput laboratory environment with proprietary software and hardware systems. Proactivity, organization and planning of concurrent activities. Desirable knowledge on process improvement methodologies.
