Powertrain engineering is contribung to the volvo group’s compeve posion in the market place by developing and maintaining profitable products and product components in terms of quality, delivery, cost and funcon and that comply with all applicable regulatory requirements. Our scope of work includes engineering and design of engines, gearboxes, axles, hybrid technology and driveline and is based on common architecture and shared documentaon team is part of the complete powertrain engineering in curiba. Product documentaon team is responsible for the engineering change management throughout the enre product life-Cycle. The team defines the hierarchical decomposion of a product, variants and technical restricons, drawing and cad check funcon, handling customer unique configuraon demands and special requests that impact standard parts. We have strong collaboraon with engineering centers in sweden, france, japan and U.S.A. Job summaryas a product structure intern you are going to be responsible for the following acvies:help the product structure team creang the documentaon to release the product changes related to powertrain items;document the team indicators in the group sharepoint using the powerbi microso tool;help the standard parts global responsible engineer in order to assist technologies to use the correct components;help the team in all daily activities. Addional information, knowledge and skills:studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control & automation engineering;graduation planned end 2022 or later;good ability to communicate and work with people at different levels;good knowledge in writing and speaking english advanced excel power bi ability is desirable.
