Create, maintain and execute test automation scripts
Collaborate with software engineering as needed to resolved problems and identify root cause of product defects
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-Paced environment
Proficient in building complex test plans and test scripts
Must be a creative thinker when devising test strategies
Work with the scrum team to ensure that all stories have well defined acceptance criteria, test plans, and any hooks needed to enable testability
Understanding of tdd methodologies
Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information systems or other related field.
At least 5 years of experience within a total information technology (it) environment.
2-3 years of hands on experience with front and back end automated testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (sdlc) with a primary focus on agile methodologies (scrum, or safe).
Solid understanding of product features and user scenarios to be converted to automation
Experience in analyzing web applications and writing test cases based on current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements do not exist.
Strong proficiency with at least one high-Level programming or scripting language: python (most preferred) or java or c#
Good knowledge of test management and issues tracking systems (jira, testrail, etc.)
Experience with building an automation framework from scratch.
Experience with selenium
Experience with page object model framework or other open source test automation frameworks
Experience with version control systems (github)
Experience with sql and relational databases
Experience with ci/cd pipeline (jenkins, docker)
Experience with tdd methodology / unit testing
Have significant experience and willingness to work with other teams such as development, product and release teams
Excellent communication skills
