Coordinate safety, environment and occupational health areas in curitiba. Provide ehs technical support to the site. Ensuring compliance with the legislation required for ehs, promoting regular assessments and anticipation of the implementation of the legislation, routinely using the system provided by the company for this purpose (ambito), preparing reports and following up according to the assigned responsibilities. Conduct management of licensing processes (environmental, fire, others)/interact with related government organizations. Follow the appropriate incident management process, from the initial communication to the evaluation of the effectiveness of implemented actions. Support the elaboration and validation process and then the fulfillment of the ehs budget, being responsible for monitoring all financial aspects of the ehs area, including contracts and requisitions. Carry out regulatory environmental monitoring (effluents, atmospheric, environmental noise, groundwater, others) in accordance with legal and/or corporate requirements and provide adequate treatment for non-Conformities found. Ensuring that all mandatory periodic health and safety monitoring is implemented according to schedule. Ensuring that adequate training, as well as guidance and support to ehs committees such as cipa are adequate for their maximum effectiveness for ehs improvements. Ensure that all emergency response procedures and processes are in place and that emergency personnel are trained and ready to act in the scenarios defined by the emergency plan. Ensure that emergency response equipment is always available for use by trained personnel supervise processes related to waste management, including mapping of generation, storage, waste disposal and/or minimization, working together with manufacturing personnel. Support the execution of the ehs training matrix according to plant needs and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and implement strategies for the ehs onboarding process for new employees and third parties. Support and actively participate in safety-Related assessments of the plant process and follow up on open items. Ensure ehs department presence and engagement in the field daily for risk mitigation and positive recognition observations of operations, transportation, and contractor hazard communication (msds, emergency worksheet, compatibility matrix) to stakeholders involved with them). Ensure that chemical emergency sheets are up to date and available to be used in the transport of hexion products. Manage indicators, events, action plans, rocs, among others, through the corporate database (gensuite / mcrs ) so that actions and items remain within the established deadlines, and when there are changes they follow the companys proper procedures (variance) understand and multiply the concepts of sif (serious incident factors), hierarchy of controls, risk matrix, eih, personal safety mentality and ensure their application in plant routines. Make sure that activity reviews (sif aspect review) are regularly carried out and red items are properly addressed. Apply these concepts to routine tasks covered by safe work permits, work risk analysis and other tools. Technically lead initiatives and be an example and model for this initiative. Support the plant committee in its plans and actions. Manage the entire unit standardization process, in accordance with safety rules, ensuring high quality of services and that adequate quantities are present when needed. Ensure site contractors comply with hexions ehs procedures and local ehs legislation the site contractors safe work permitting processes, morning safety meetings and provide necessary ehs training or procedures for continuous improvement in the sites contractor safety program. Conduct critical analysis of indicators periodically and discuss resulting action plans with ehs and manufacturing leaders.
