Position reports directly to the star community health, chief executive note the selected candidate and new hire will be an employee of star community health centers, inc. And not st. Lukes university health network. Star community health centers, inc., affiliated with st. Lukes university health network, is an organization comprised of community-Based clinics and sites providing healthcare services to our local populations. New hire(s) will be recruited and hired via st. Lukes university health network, but will transition to become a star community health centers, inc. Employee following the commencement of new hire duties and responsibilities:plans, organizes, directs and controls various human resources programs, including recruitment and training, compensation and benefits, employee relations and policies and procedures. Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish and maintain a positive employer-Employee relationship to promote a high level of employee management on various issues involving disciplinary actions, promotions, transfers, salary recommendations, policy interpretations, terminations and identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the human resources function. Monitors exposure for the hospital. Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance. Acts as the primary contact with labor counsel and outside government hr with various community groups and maintains public and administrative meetings and serves on task forces related to entity operations and human resources osha logs and handles workers compensation entity employee data is correctly entered into employee reporting unemployment claims and challenges when appropriate attends for and participates in internal and external regulatory reviews including joint planning of service awards functions and united way with the star community health center, inc. Hr administrative team and other entity hr directors to accomplish essential functions. Physical and sensory requirements:sitting up to 7 hours per day, 2 hours at a time. Standing/walking up to 1 hour per day, 15 minutes at a time. Frequently uses fingers/hands for typing, computer entry, etc. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Occasionally carries, pushes or pulls an object up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoops, bends, kneels, climbs and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general and near bachelors degree in human resources or related field required. Training and experience:a minimum of three years human resources generalist experience and previous supervisory experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills and strong decision-Making skills required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required. Strong computer skills required: microsoft office, excel, powerpoint, outlook, hris/complete your application using your full legal name and current home address.
