Senior & lead process engineer - we are a full-Service engineering, design, and construction management firm servicing the oil & gas, heavy industrial, mining, and manufacturing sectors. From our lakewood, colorado office, we execute projects across north america spanning from california to florida and canada down to mexico. Our projects range in size from simple engineering studies or maintenance repairs to full-Scale design of large facilities. We operate at a fast-Pace while providing a team-Centric approach to our your role:this is a hands-On, full-Time position with day-To-Day duties that include completing well defined process engineering tasks. You will collaborate with project team(s) to complete deliverables as assigned by the project manager or project engineer, in alignment with the project schedule, budget, and scope of duties and major responsibilities:technical collaboration:reviews deliverables with peers and supervisors as questions quality assurance and quality control (qa/qc) procedures (intra- And inter-Disciplinary checks) are performed on deliverables in department meetings, lunch-N-Learns, and training. Produces process engineering deliverables, as defined by the raci model (responsible, accountable, consultative, informed), in alignment with zap standard processes and procedures. Process flow flow & instrumentation diagrams (P&ids).Process safety valve (psv) calculations/procedures. Collaborates with project team members on interdisciplinary technical deliverables, as defined by the raci. Design sizing, datasheets, and conditions for instrument and control valve (cv) datasheets. Collaborates and communicates with project team regarding overall project progress and status of process-Specific deadlines and deliverables. Internal and external kickoff status meetings and lead review meetings and model review project schedule and discuss deadlines with discipline specific budget and flag issues/out projects and compile job books. Develop industry knowledge and skillset through completion of technical deliverables associated with projects. Reviews calculations, design guidelines, and industry standards for understanding and understanding while picking up redlines and qa/qc comments on deliverables. Assist with other duties as assigned. Senior process engineer:5+ years of experience practicing discipline specific engineering on multidiscipline project teams with a professional engineering license required, or 8+ years of degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering addition to all essential duties listed above, this role has an opportunity for interfacing with vendors, as well as addressing deliverable issues and concerns with the team and proposing solutions. This position is active in proposal writing and will build engineering hours budgets. This role will be able to work independently and seek out guidance when required and without prompting, as well as provide qa/qc on most department deliverables and most inter-Departmental checks. This position should have competent job knowledge and the ability to adapt to changes in the work process engineer:10+ years of experience practicing discipline specific engineering on multidiscipline project teams with a professional engineering license required, or 12+ years of degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering addition to all essential duties listed above, this role will occasionally lead department meetings and assist with on-The-Job training, as well as perform qa/qc on all department specific deliverables. This role should drive project schedules and discuss deadlines with the team proactively, understand discipline specific budgets and address any issues or concerns and propose solutions. This position will assist others in understanding calculations, design guidelines and industry standards by sharing industry knowledge and providing mentoring to others via redlines and qa/qc comments on deliverables. They will also perform project management duties for small or single discipline projects, interface with clients as needed, complete invoicing and write proposals. This position will work independently and seek out guidance when required and without prompting and will drive deliverables to skills:excellent communication (written and verbal) solving skills to be able to resolve simple problems quickly and self-Direction and responsibility for own tasks, deliverables, and leadership skills and some general experience leading work groups or task forces in specific user of technology and software required to execute daily with hysys, unisim, promax, and/or vmg symmetry.
