About the role: as the global planning manager (remote), for the global fp&A team, you will be the bpo for the new connected planning system that is replacing hyperion, and will bring in a whole set of new functions behind the systems new complexities that will leverage alcoas capability of running financial analysis to the next level. Other key responsibilities include: managing alcoa closing and forecast cycle globally in the connected planning applications, the financial system used currently in the company to manage budget process, planning and forecast. As part of this process, you will need to manage the system as the business process owner. Leading the support that is given by the fp&A for alcoa operational plants, headquarters and corporate, supporting them with forecast and planning process whenever requested. Also, you will be the finance contact for the itas group for any system upgrades, maintenance, technical issues and functional requests. Bringing expertise in finance corporate reporting and financial systems. It is expected that you will be able to communicate properly among the organization, acting as a leader and advisor for any changes and projects proposed in the connected planning environment, supporting the future of companys data analytics. Supporting companys senior leadership in developing new ways to access and interpret alcoas data. In a context of high economic volatility and constant technological break-Throughs, the existing reporting structure is often insufficient to provide the proper perspective to solve issues that are somewhat new to the organization. You will play a central role in developing enhanced reporting functionality, as well as devising a team mindset focused on formulating solutions for new challenges, some of which are not yet known. What you can bring to the role: you will have a minimum of a graduate diploma english language skills with the proficiency fluent solid experience with financial systems, as well as script language skills such as, but not limited to: sql, C#/C+, script, vba, essbase script, phyton, java solid experience with budget management process (plan/forecast/actual) and accounting and financial reporting leadership experience, with good communication skills project management skills.
